Terms and Conditions

These terms are an agreement between you and Nimions (“we”, “us”) for the use of the TypeMate AI Android app and keyboard (“the app”). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What the app is

TypeMate AI is a keyboard with AI writing actions, a voice dictation feature and a companion app. AI results are generated by a third-party model (Google Gemini) from the text you submit. The app is provided for personal and business writing assistance.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if higher. An account is optional. If you create one, keep your credentials confidential and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Free allowance, ads and credits

The free plan includes 20 AI actions per calendar month, reset on the first day of each month. Unused actions do not carry over. You may earn 5 additional actions by watching a rewarded ad, up to 3 ads per day. We may change the size of the free allowance, the ad reward or the daily cap; changes apply from the next month and will be shown in the app. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold or refunded.

4. Pro subscription

Pro removes the monthly limit and ads for as long as your subscription is active. Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through Google Play, monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Prices are shown in Google Play in your local currency before you confirm. Your Google account is charged at confirmation, or at the end of the trial, and again at the start of each renewal period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

Cancel any time in Google Play (Payments and subscriptions). You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy; we cannot issue refunds directly. If a payment fails, Play may retry it and Pro may be paused until it succeeds.

5. AI output

AI-generated text is produced automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing everything before you insert, send or rely on it. The app does not provide legal, medical, financial or professional advice. Where you provide text for an action, you confirm you have the right to submit it.

You own the text you submit and, to the extent permitted by law and by the model provider’s terms, the results generated for you. We claim no ownership over either.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app to:

• generate or send content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent generated text as a specific person’s own words where that would deceive;
• submit other people’s personal data, credentials, payment details or confidential information you are not authorised to share;
• circumvent credit limits, ads, subscription checks or security rules, or automate requests;
• reverse engineer, extract the model or otherwise interfere with the service or its providers.

We may suspend or terminate access for breaches of these rules.

7. Third-party services

The app depends on services from Google (Gemini, speech recognition, Firebase, AdMob and Google Play). Their availability and terms are outside our control. AI actions require an internet connection. We may switch model or provider without notice where the result is equivalent.

8. Privacy

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Intellectual property

The app, its design, brand and code are owned by Nimions and licensed to you, not sold. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Android devices you control, subject to these terms and the Google Play terms.

10. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features at any time. We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may release updates that you need to install to keep using the app.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI output, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nimions is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profit arising from your use of the app or of any generated text. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or US$10 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including consumer rights in your country.

13. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it and, if you wish, requesting account deletion. We may terminate or suspend access if you breach these terms. Sections 5, 9, 11, 12 and 14 survive termination.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and disputes are subject to the courts of Dhaka, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you have where you live.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For material changes we will notify you in the app before they take effect; continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
